Physician Assistant to Dr. Earl Kilbride

Katie is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area and relocated to Austin in 2014. She attended the University of California at Davis for her undergraduate studies where she received a bachelor of science in psychology with an emphasis in biology. She then completed her PA training at Duke University School of Medicine where she received a master of physician assistant studies.

After graduating from Duke, she lived in Portland, Oregon where she worked in trauma and critical care. Katie joined Texas Orthopedics as Dr. Kilbride’s PA after working with him at Austin Skeletal Trauma since 2014.

Katie is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a member of Physician Assistants in Orthopedic Surgery. She lives in Austin with her husband Patrick and her 4 year old pug, Gus. When she’s not in the operating room or helping guide patients through the process of orthopedic injury diagnosis and recovery, she enjoys hiking, yoga, live music, gardening, baking, and traveling.
