Michael D. Loeb, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. He is fellowship-trained in shoulder and elbow surgery, and he specializes in arthroscopy and joint replacement surgery. He has a special interest in sports injuries, as well as advanced joint reconstruction of the upper extremity.
As an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Michael Loeb strives to provide patients with the highest quality orthopedic care. He offers the most up-to-date and scientifically supported treatment methods available, including surgical and non-surgical solutions, so that you feel empowered to make a well-informed decision that suits your personal goals for recovery.
Dr. Loeb specializes in treating shoulder and elbow injuries. He will get you back to doing the activities you enjoy but cannot do because of debilitating shoulder or elbow pain. Shoulder arthroscopy is a common procedure for treating the shoulder.
Dr. Loeb has co-authored several scientific articles for peer-reviewed publications, including the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. In addition, he has lectured on sports-related injuries of the shoulder and served as an instructor at international courses on shoulder surgery. He has been named by his peers to the Super Doctors Rising Stars list in 2013 and 2014.
Dr. Loeb is an active member of the teaching faculty of Dell Medical School’s Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program where he is working to advance the field of musculoskeletal care and training the next generation of physicians and surgeons. To learn more, please click here.
