Dr. Randall Schultz is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon specializing in knee and hip surgery. His clinical focus includes computer-navigated knee replacement and direct anterior hip replacement.

A native Austinite, Dr. Schultz graduated from Austin High School, where he was the starting varsity quarterback for four years. During his high school career, he set multiple Austin High and AISD passing records and was inducted into the Maroon Society as a graduating senior. While at Dartmouth, he also earned a Master’s Degree in Outcomes Research and Evidence-Based Medicine.

He completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine and Adult Joint Reconstruction in San Antonio under the mentorship of Dr. Jesse DeLee, gaining extensive experience in both joint preservation and replacement techniques.

Dr. Schultz has published scientific papers and authored book chapters in the fields of sports medicine and joint replacement surgery. He is board-certified by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and has served for eight years as an affiliate faculty member in the Joint Replacement Training Program at The University of Texas Dell Medical School.

He previously  served as Chief of Orthopaedics  at Seton Medical Center Austin and as head of the Seton Network Orthopedic service line.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Schultz enjoys spending time with his two daughters, playing golf, hunting, and staying active in the Austin community.
