Austin native Dr. Daniel T. Stewart is proud to be back in Texas as part of Texas Orthopedics. With a passion for his community, Dr. Stewart serves orthopedic patients in Northwest Austin and Round Rock, Texas, bringing an innovative approach to hand surgery. His background has enabled him to garner extensive knowledge in advanced microsurgical procedures to treat hand, wrist, and elbow injuries and conditions.
Practicing at a state-of-the-art facility for outpatient orthopedic surgery, Dr. Stewart has access to cutting-edge surgical equipment. This enables him to provide a higher level of comprehensive patient care with successful outcomes. Dr. Stewart’s practice at Texas Orthopedics allows him to refer patients for post-surgical therapies on site, giving both the patient and physician an advantage in managing care.
Because of his work as a hand surgeon, Dr. Stewart understands how important mobility of the hand is and why complete healing is essential. His patients are pleased with the results they experience and the outstanding level of care he provides.

Meet Kendall Clarkson, FNP-C
Nurse Practitioner to Dr. Daniel Stewart
Kendall Clarkson is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner working with Dr. Daniel Stewart as part of his medical team. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin.
Prior to joining Texas Orthopedics, Kendall served in various nursing roles including as an Orthopedic Post Anesthesia Recovery Nurse, Emergency Department Nurse and Nurse Traveler.
Kendall is certified by the Texas Board of Nursing and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Passionate about helping patients regain mobility and return to the activities they love, Kendall enjoys supporting active individuals of all ages in their recovery journey.
In her free time, Kendall enjoys spending time with her family, skiing, and horseback riding.
