Dr. Onan completed his medical degree and residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, and his Spine Surgery Fellowship in Seattle. Dr. Pham completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, his Orthopedic Surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina / Ralph H. Dr. Justin Vickery
Justin Vickery, MD is a fellowship-trained spine surgeon at Texas Orthopedics specializing in disorders of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar regions of the spine. Dr. Vickery completed his medical degree at the Texas A&M College of Medicine, his Orthopedic Surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, and his Spine Fellowship at the Norton Leatherman Spine program in Louisville, Kentucky. Physiatrists
The Texas Orthopedics spine team includes a highly trained, award-winning team of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation doctors (Physiatrists) including Dr. Kenneth Bunch, Dr. Vishal Kancherla and Dr. Ai Mukai. Our Physiatrists work alongside spine surgeons and are experts at diagnosing and offering non-surgical treatment options for neck pain, back pain and conditions of the nerves, muscles, and bones. Their diagnostic tools include using electrodiagnostic studies to diagnose nerve and muscles conditions that affect function and quality of life due to pain, weakness, numbness and/or tingling in the spine and extremities.

Dr. Kenneth Bunch
Kenneth Bunch, MD, is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R), and has a special interest in interventional spine, musculoskeletal, and electrodiagnostic medicine. Dr. Bunch has advanced training in ultrasound and fluoroscopic-guided spine procedures which adds to his comprehensive non-surgical care for spine and musculoskeletal disorders. He utilizes physical therapy, exercise, interventional procedures, and medications to help patients minimize pain and restore function. He performs electrodiagnostic (EMG) testing to diagnose specific nerve disorders including carpal tunnel syndrome and neuropathy.
Dr. Bunch is currently seeing patients at our Northwest Austin and Leander locations.
Dr. Vishal Kancherla
Vishal Kancherla, MD is a board-certified Interventional Physiatrist and fellowship-trained spine specialist. His expertise lies in restoring function and optimizing performance in those patients with spine, joint, muscle and nerve pain. He believes that a series of small steps can yield massive improvements. His patient-centered philosophy helps guide him to determine the safest, simplest and most appropriate treatment methods needed to obtain a successful outcome. Dr. Kancherla focuses on individualized treatment plans performing non-surgical interventions and prescribing the appropriate therapies in the treatment of a wide variety of conditions.
Dr. Kancherla is currently seeing patients at our Northwest Austin, Round Rock and Kyle locations.
Dr. Ai Mukai
Ai Mukai, MD is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician who focuses on non-surgical musculoskeletal and spine care using conservative modalities such as physical therapy and image-guided injections. She also performs electrodiagnostic studies to diagnose nerve and muscle conditions that can cause pain, weakness, numbness, and tingling. In addition, her interests include Orthobiologics including Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and stem cell therapy.
Dr. Mukai is currently seeing patients at in Central and South Austin.
