Texas Orthopedics is proud to welcome another excellent addition to our staff of physicians. Dr. Joseph Snowden joins us on February 1 as a board-certified podiatric surgeon. He comes to us from his own private podiatry practice in Austin and Round Rock where he has been well-established for several years.
Dr. Snowden attended Western Illinois University and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. He completed his graduate education at the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Snowden then fulfilled his surgical training at the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine, Henrotin Hospital (Chicago), Franklin Boulevard Hospital (Chicago), McDonough District Hospital (Macomb, Illinois), and Westbury Hospital in Houston.
Dr. Snowden holds board certifications from the following:
- National Board of Podiatry Examiners, Diplomate
- American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Diplomate
- American Board of Podiatric Surgery, Diplomate
- American Board of Podiatric Surgery, Board-Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery
He also serves as Chairman of Podiatry at Bailey Square Surgery Center.
In his spare time, Dr. Snowden enjoys scuba diving, water skiing, hunting and fising, and is a private pilot with instrument rating.
Dr. Snowden will be seeing patients in our new Lakeway office, and also at our Cedar Park and Midtown locations.
