Roxanne received her undergraduate degree from Texas State University in San Marcos Texas before heading to get her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton. After graduating, Roxanne decided to stay local and moved back to her hometown of Georgetown. Growing up as a student athlete, she's had her fair share of run ins with physical therapists which helped make her decision to pursue a career in therapy. Roxanne did a clinical rotation with Texas Orthopedics at the beginning of her doctorate program that made her eager to come back and treat as a licensed physical therapist. She has a special interest in young athletes and active adults. She's passionate about sports and loves helping patients return to sports. Outside of the clinic, Roxanne enjoys staying active by playing sand volleyball, participating in classes at OrangeTheory Fitness, going to the lake or beach, and trying out new restaurants in the area.

Taylia Tyo, PT, DPT

Taylia was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs but after getting her undergraduate degree at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign, she decided to move south to Texas where she received her graduate degree in Physical Therapy at Baylor University. Taylia is a people-person who loves to help people get back to doing what they love, which is why Physical Therapy was the right career for her. In particular, she loves to work with athletes and believes that all people are athletes to some extent. Her knowledge doesn’t stop there though as she is pursuing further specializations in orthopedics as well as manual therapy. If Taylia is not working in the clinic, you can find her exploring Austin and being around people or practicing her love of reading and baking.

Meilyn Cisneros, DPT

Originally from Miami, Florida, Meilyn pursued physical therapy after a personal injury and life experiences inspired her commitment to helping others heal. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Florida International University before moving to Austin, where she completed her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Texas State University. As a former competitive school dancer, Meilyn has a passion for working with both school-based and professional dancers. Overall, she loves working with people of all ages to promote lifelong wellness and minimize injury risks to get them back to the activities they love. Outside the clinic, Meilyn enjoys hitting the trails with her dogs, traveling, surfing, pickleball, reading, and painting.

Jacob Swan, PTA

Jacob SwanPTA is from Wyoming, which is where he attended the University of Wyoming and received his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. He then went to LCCC to complete my degree as a PTA. He has continued to gain experience rehabbing injuries to the knee, shoulder, hip and ankle, breathing and rib cage dysfunctions (PRI), concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, Blood flow restriction training, and cranial sacral techniques. I have experience working with athletes of all ages and skill levels from recreational league sports to professional level including: Olympic lifting, soccer, baseball, basketball, football, rugby, golf, wrestling, swimming and tennis. My wife and I moved to the area in the fall of 2025 to be closer to family. We enjoy spending time in the outdoors with our 3 dogs, Zeme, Zephyr and Bomber.

She received her Bachelor's in Health Sciences at James Madison University where she played field hockey for the Dukes. She received her Master's in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia. She has been working at Texas Orthopedics Physical Therapy since November 2020. Griffin Wiemelt, PT, DPT

Griffin Wiemelt PT, DPT has been a practicing physical therapist in Austin, TX since joining Texas Orthopedics in January 2023. Griffin earned his undergraduate bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Louisiana State University in 2019 before receiving his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2022. Since graduating, he has worked exclusively in orthopedic physical therapy, treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and helping patients return to the activities they enjoy. Griffin’s primary clinical interests include orthopedic and sports-related injuries. In addition to his clinical experience, he has pursued post-graduate training in regenerative dry needling, lifting and running analysis, and Mulligan manual therapy concepts. Ryan Vincent PT, DPT, Cert. DN

Ryan received his BS in Kinesiology from Oregon State University before moving to Austin to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. He has his certification in Dry Needling. Ryan played Division I soccer during his undergraduate studies and has gone through numerous injuries that required rehab. He understands the emotional impact of being unable to participate in your normal activities. Ryan hopes to help expedite a safe return to activity, while also helping to maintain high morale during the rehab process. Alexa received her BS in Exercise Science from The College at Brockport State University of New York, where she was a competitive gymnast, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Long Island University Brooklyn. Kathleen (Katie) Durisek, PT, DPT

Katie is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of Akron, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Dayton. She moved to Austin back in 2022, and has loved being here! Katie is a volleyball player, and still plays in leagues here in Austin. She has a passion for working with athletes, and has a special interest in working with patients recovering from ACL injury. It is rewarding to her when her patients return to their sports, or continue to stay active. Katie has done continuing education courses in ACL Rehabilitation, Running Injuries, as well as Barbell form and techniques. In her free time, you can find Katie walking dogs at Austin Animal Services, playing volleyball, and training for her next race.

Meredith received her Bachelors in Neurological Music Therapy from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado and her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. Marissa is an Austin native who went to Texas Tech University and then went to University of Arkansas Medical Sciences receiving her doctorate in Physical Therapy. Her passion for physical therapy began long before graduate school—it started on the volleyball court. As a volleyball player, she experienced firsthand the importance of movement, injury prevention, rehabilitation. As she got older, she also found a love for coaching. Working with athletes of all ages taught her that every individual learns and progresses differently. Those experiences inspired her to pursue physical therapy. Kailyn Williams PT, DPT

Kailyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Dance Science from Texas A&M University in College Station before receiving her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. As a Round Rock native, she was excited to return to the Austin area after graduation and rejoin the TXO team after previously working as a Physical Therapy Aide. Kailyn enjoys building meaningful relationships with her patients and is passionate about helping them achieve their recovery goals. She plans to pursue advanced certifications in manual therapy and dry needling. Kailyn has clinical experience working with dancers, pelvic floor therapy, and vestibular therapy. Jim is a sports enthusiast who loves watching the Aggies play on Saturdays. Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, Devin grew up on the beach and loved playing all sports, but played soccer competitively for over 20 years. Devin moved to San Antonio, Texas to get his undergrad degree in Kinesiology with an Athletic Medicine concentration from UTSA. Devin then moved to Galveston, Texas to get his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Devin’s passion for an active lifestyle, sports, and exercise to benefit the lives of others is what brought him to Texas Orthopedics. Devin enjoys hiking, going to the gym, any activities involving water, and hanging out with friends in his free time.

Caroline McCoy, PT, DPT (Director)

Caroline grew up in Warner Robins, Georgia before receiving her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Kinesiology from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia. She then proceeded to get her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. Caroline played sports growing up which led her to gain interest in the body and what exercise and movement can do. She knew she wanted to help others, and improving quality of life through Physical Therapy was the perfect fit. She enjoys working with a wide range of patient populations and helping everyone reach their individualized goals. Caroline is also certified in Dry-Needling. Outside of work, Caroline enjoys being outside and playing with her dog!

Terry Fredley PT, DPT, FAAOMPT

Terry was raised in San Antonio, TX before coming to Austin where she received her BFA in Dance from the University of Texas. Terry was a member of several dance companies in Austin before returning to school to earn her MS in Physical Therapy from Texas State University. Terry continued her studies though the Manual Therapy Institute where she became a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. She became dry needling certified through the Institute of Athletic Regeneration. Amanda Correa PT, DPT, Cert. DN

Amanda earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Baylor University in Waco, Texas, and is dry needling certified through Integrative Dry Needling. She enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic conditions and has a special interest in working with student athletes. Amanda values collaborating with athletic trainers, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to help athletes safely return to sport. Before becoming a physical therapist, Amanda owned and operated a yoga teacher training school for over a decade. Elijah Hendrix, PT, DPT

Elijah grew up in Giddings, Texas, before coming to Austin, Texas and receiving his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and Kinesiology from the University of Texas at Austin. He then proceeded towards his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. Elijah grew up playing multiple sports, swimming being chief among them, before a football injury led him into PT for the first time…as a patient! From there, he quickly saw the value of this profession and its impact on people. He welcomes all patients as he enjoys working with all populations. Dale O’Toole OTR, CHT

Dale O’Toole, OTR, CHT is a licensed Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist with 35 years of clinical experience specializing in upper extremity rehabilitation. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac College and has been licensed in Texas since 1991, achieving Hand Therapy Certification in 2000. Dale has extensive experience treating traumatic, orthopedic, neurological, and cumulative trauma injuries across hospital-based, outpatient, ICU, acute care, and pediatric/adult home health settings. She specializes in post-surgical rehabilitation splinting, wound care, dry needling, joint mobilization, burn and pre-prosthetic care. Throughout her career, she has served in senior and supervisory roles, mentored therapy students and technicians, lectured to medical professionals, and contributed to the development of an early temporary prosthetic hand kit at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is an active member of the Hand Therapy Certification Commission, American Society of Hand Therapists and regional hand therapy associations. Dale is conversational in Spanish and remains committed to delivering individualized, evidence-based care to patients throughout their lives.
