Chase Romere, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon at Texas Orthopedics specializing in disorders of the foot and ankle.
Dr. Romere completed his undergraduate studies at Rice University with honors, and his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Following graduation, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School where he served as Vice-Executive Chief Resident and Executive Chief Resident. Dr. Romere went on to complete a foot and ankle fellowship at the Steadman Phillippon Research Institute in Vale, Colorado, recognized globally as a leader in research and medical training.
During his medical training, Dr. Romere was actively involved in research, authored numerous articles for scientific journals, and presented his research to both national and international audiences. In early 2025, he was assigned as Team Doctor for the Snowboard Halfpipe World Championships in Switzerland and the Snowboard Cross Junior World Championships in France.
Dr. Romere is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society which recognizes physicians for their commitment to compassionate care. This commitment has extended beyond our borders to include medical missions to Honduras (OneWorldSurgery) and Guatemala (Operation KidDocs).
Outside of his practice, Dr. Romere enjoys photography, traveling with his family, and playing competitive beach volleyball. Along with speaking English, he has full professional proficiency in Spanish.
