Imaging Services: MRI and X-Ray
Texas Orthopedics is fully equipped with state-of-the-art, on-site imaging equipment to help our orthopedic doctors, physiatrists, and rheumatologists diagnose and treat muscle, nerve, bone, tendon, ligament, and cartilage injuries and conditions.
By providing on-site imaging, our specialists can quickly diagnose patients in order to determine the best treatment options possible. However, if you have current diagnostic images performed by another physician, please bring them to your appointment.
Our on-site diagnostic imaging assessments include:
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is an outpatient imaging procedure that produces detailed views of internal structures, including soft tissues. MRI helps doctors check for abnormalities and diagnose injuries and conditions. MRI is a painless procedure that simply requires that patients remain still while the images are taken.
We are proud to offer MRI services at our Northwest Austin location. Our MRI facility is nationally accredited by the American College of Radiology.
X-rays create images of internal body structures to help diagnose orthopedic conditions, such as a broken bone, and plan treatments, such as setting a broken bone. X-rays are extremely quick outpatient procedures.
X-rays are available at all Texas Orthopedics locations.
