Dr. Logan is a board-certified, fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon at Texas Orthopedics. A native of Oklahoma City, Dr. Logan enlisted in the Army following high school. After an initial training period in San Angelo, he was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska as a Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). This experience allowed him to return to Oklahoma and join the Stillwater Fire Department. He became increasingly interested in the medical aspects of his work and set about getting his undergraduate degree at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater with an eye toward medical school.
Dr. Logan completed medical school at the University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma City. He chose the field of Orthopedics due to witnessing rapid, positive patient outcomes and quality of life seen with bone and joint surgeries. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency training at the University of Florida, Jacksonville where he served as a Chief Resident and received awards for his commitment to educating his peers. While in Jacksonville, he completed fellowship training in Adult Joint Reconstruction at the Mayo Clinic. This year-long training allowed him to gain experience in complex primary and revision hip and knee replacements. He was also trained in robotic-assisted surgeries including MAKOplasty partial knee and total hip replacements and joint-preserving surgeries for vascular necrosis.
Dr. Logan has a special interest in treating patients with arthritis and performing knee and hip replacements. He also specializes in:

Along with his busy medical practice, Dr. Logan is also one of the Texas Orthopedic team physicians that helps cover the Texas Stars hockey games.
In 2023 and 2024, Dr. Logan was voted by his peers as a Texas Monthly Magazine Super Doctor. Dr. Logan was also recognized by his peers in 2020, 2022 and 2023 as a Texas Monthly Super Doctor Rising Star.
Dr. Logan will be the first to tell you that he would not have made it this far without his wife Heather and their three children. Outside of work, their numerous activities keep him busy, as he tries to carve out time to enjoy fishing, barbecuing, and occasional home-improvement projects.

Meet Stephanie Cheng, PA-C
Physician Assistant for Dr. Logan
Stephanie Cheng was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition. She then traveled out of Texas to The University of South Alabama where she completed her Masters in Physician Assistant studies.
She returned to Texas to stay close to family and raise a family of her own. Since finishing school, she has been with Texas Orthopedics previously working with Dr. Drake Borer and now working with Dr. Zach Logan.
Stephanie is a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Association of Physician Assistants. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys traveling, snowboarding, hiking and spending time with her family.
