Kelly Cline, MD is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with dual fellowships in pediatric orthopedics and sports medicine. She specializes in pediatric sports injuries with vast experience treating pediatric, adolescents and collegiate athletes. In addition to helping student-athletes, Dr. Cline has extensive experience in treating pediatric trauma. Dr. Cline sees patients at our Texas Orthopedics offices in Northwest Austin and Round Rock.
Children are not just mini-adults, they heal differently and often require a unique medical and surgical care approach to ensure the best outcomes and understanding for both the child and the caregiver. Dr. Cline has extensive, comprehensive training and expertise in treating children with orthopedic disorders. A Texas native Dr. Cline studied at the University of Texas before moving to California to develop her orthopedic skills. Most recently Dr. Cline worked at Cook Children’s honing her skills in pediatric trauma in one of the busiest pediatric medical centers in Texas.
Dr. Cline currently volunteers her time on the field as the official orthopedic physician for Vista Ridge High School and court side at Austin Stars hockey games.
Dr. Cline was voted by her peers to the Texas Monthly Super Doctors Rising Stars list in 2021 and 2022 and the Austin Monthly Top Doctor’s list in 2022 and 2023. Dr. Cline is also one of the Texas Orthopedic team physicians that helps cover the Texas Stars Hockey games.
