Brian T. Hardy, M.D. is fellowship trained in orthopaedic surgery of the hand and upper extremity. He has a special interest in minimally invasive endoscopic carpal tunnel surgery and shoulder replacement surgery.
Dr. Hardy is a native of Danville, Virginia. In 1999, he graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BS in biochemistry and an MBA. He then entered medical school at the University of Virginia where he earned his MD in 2003. He traveled to Cleveland, OH to complete his orthopaedic surgery residency training at Case Western Reserve University. He further enhanced his training by completing a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery under the direction of Dr. Paul Dell at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Dr. Hardy and his wife, Tara, have one son. Outside of medicine, he enjoys golf, photography, movies, and Notre Dame football.
Dr. Hardy is Board Eligible by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Candidate Member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
