Peter M. Garcia, Jr., MD is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with more than 25 years of experience. Dr. Garcia practices general orthopedics and particularly enjoys managing trauma and sports injuries. He is distinguished as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

 

Dr. Garcia earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology Degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He received his Medical Degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Dr. Garcia completed his Orthopedic Residency at William Beaumont Army Medical Center. 

Dr. Garcia serves on all area hospital medical staffs. He is the former Orthopedic Chief at Brackenridge Hospital. Dr. Garcia serves as a designated doctor for the Texas Workers' Compensation Commission. Dr. Garcia has been named by his peers to the Super Doctors® list in 2009, 2010 and 2011.

Dr. Garcia is married and the father of four daughters. He enjoys running, playing tennis, getaway weekends, watching movies, and spending time with his wife and daughters.
